Friday, March 25, 2011. Yesterday marked two years since Ali came home from rehab. In the past two years she is walking a little, talking more and starting to eat! Our load is quite a bit lighter also. we used to bring the vent, suction machine, oxygen, food pump backpack, and a backpack full of emergency trach supplies. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Than me, yet the same. It was both surreal and life-affirming. Emerson? Would I look forward to the photos and updates or would they break my heart over and over again? It was truly more than I could bear.
I have this thing with feet. Feet It could be because feet take you places. They keep my body in motion, but also ground me to the center of my core. I may love them because I am a Piscean, and Pisces rule the feet. Emotionally, this is quite fitting because Pisceans also bear the weight of their entire body with their feet. Regardless, I had fun taking these photos of my footsies.
